The Sentimental Reflections series is an annual production: four DVDs are published each year, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

The Spring Edition includes a visit to the popular Louisville Slugger Museum, gorgeous scenery along the Pacific Ocean in southern California as well as a look back at noteworthy events in 1958.

COVER STORY: There's an impressive roster of Major League ballplayers who have endorsed and used Louisville Slugger bats over the years. Since the company made its first bats in the 19th century, it has recorded a history as intriguing as baseball itself.

SCENIC AMERICA: The Point Vicente Lighthouse, located between Long Beach and Redondo Beach, is known as the brightest light along the Southern California coast. The lighthouse, built in 1926, blends with the majestic cliffs to showcase the natural beauty of the area.

ON A MUSICAL NOTE:   John McEuen is best known for his many years with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He now performs with a group called John McEuen and the String Wizards. His music and memories are part of our music feature.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH:   San Dimas, California is mostly a bedroom community these days, but it once was a place where citrus groves and railroads thrived. Its modern laid-back pace is in stark contrast to nearby Los Angeles.

TIME CAPSULE:  Sixty years ago, Alaska celebrated its pathway to statehood, Elvis Presley was inducted into the U.S. Army and President Dwight Eisenhower and First Lady Mamie celebrated their anniversary on the Presidential Yacht.

SEASONAL FEATURE: Planting trees has long been heralded as an important activity that is celebrated and encouraged each Arbor Day. The tradition that began in Nebraska City, Nebraska in 1872.
