We all, to a certain extent, measure our own quality of life by the quality of our entertainment. Stage-appropriate entertainment should be a part of the care program of anyone with dementia. Depending on the stage of the condition, your loved one is likely to enjoy the same types of entertainment that he did in earlier years. Books and magazines, even newspapers may be exactly what he wants now.
Your loved one may not be able to follow a complex movie plot, or be interested in the World News or modern Sit-Coms.
